From Assisi-S.Maria degli Angeli railway station it is possible to reach both Rome and Florence by train in about 2 hours.
The Villa dei Melograni estate has spacious grounds with extensive views over the countryside. There are small country roads for walking and exploring amid the cultivated fields. The large villa garden is well maintained and features many varieties of flowers and trees such as pomegranate (melograno) trees. The grounds and swimming pool are shared with the owner as is a handy barbecue. Villa dei Melograni has screens on the windows.
