Villa Clio is a traditional Chianti stone farmhouse finely restored
with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fabulous position and wonderful views.
The towers of San Gimignano can be seen in the distance on a clear day.
Located in the Chianti hills near Poggibonsi, halfway between Florence
and Siena, Villa Clio has been transformed by the present owners into a
beautiful countryside residence thanks to an attentive
restoration. Its position makes a superb base for excursions to
the surrounding vineyards and medieval hamlets of the area. The
antique Tuscan traditions are all there but they have been even more
refined by the choice of color and materials used. Many of
the floors are laid with terracotta tiles. The solid chesnut
beams are original and have been left natural as have the wooden
floors. The fabrics, stone walls and furnishings all create a
harmonious picture and produce an atmosphere of light, brightness and
freshness throughout the house.
The house is tastefully furnished combining charm and tradition with
contemporary comfort. The living areas are furnished with high-quality
fabrics, antiques, fine custom linens and tableware. The large
state-of-the-art kitchen leads onto a terrace and includes a stove,
large refrigerator with icemaker, freezer, stove, oven and
dishwasher. The beautifully laid out and well-tended garden rolls
gently downward from the house toward the swimming pool, which is
situated in a panoramic position with expansive views over the Tuscan
countryside. There is an abundance of high quality outdoor furniture
and a covered loggia overlooking the swimming pool (7m X 14m) provides
shade for relaxing and outside dining. Here there is a
refrigerator, changing room, bathroom with shower and a
sauna. Other Villa Clio amenities include fast internet, air

Mezzanine level:
1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower. This room can also be
accessed by a door leading out to a large paved terrace overlooking the
garden and pool.
First floor:
1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedded room, overhead gallery open over the
living room with two divan beds, 1 bathroom with bathtub.
