Many leading Italian and foreign artists could be found in Positano in the first half of the 1920s.
`Dimora e Arte` was created in 1906 as the first art gallery in Positano.
It was the residence of Marquis Nino Marciano, artist and art collector who, during his numerous trips around the world, found many valuable objects and furnishings which are still present in the villa.
The property has been completely renovated whilst preserving its original history, identity and prestige.
The villa is characterized by the typical majolica of the Amalfi coast and has a large panoramic terrace of around 400 sq. meters which contains a delightful swimming pool for the exclusive use of our guests.
From the terrace it is possible to enjoy the charming panorama of typical houses that characterize the architecture of the town as well as the sea.
The terrace has a solarium area and a table for eating al fresco.

The villa has all mod cons: AC, safe, Wi-Fi, spa with massage and vinotherapy in the jacuzzi (to be paid for separately).
POSITION
The villa is situated in a strategic position. It is within walking distance of restaurants that are well-known for serving the typical local cuisine of Positano, as well as bars and all types of stores.
The beach is just a15 minute walk away along the typical pedestrian alleys of Positano.
The villa has a private garage for a maximum of 4 automobiles with medium-sized engines although a vehicle is not essential given the position of the property.
In fact, Positano provides good public transport services by land and by sea (during the summer months) as well as private taxis which are useful for getting to and from the airport.

GROUND FLOOR:
There are 2 entrances on the ground floor, one for accessing the private garage where, using the lift/elevator, it is possible to access all the rooms in the villa. The other entrance consists of a gate from which a few steps lead up to the interior of the villa. This entrance is generally used by people who dislike lifts/elevators or simply prefer to take the stairs.
GARAGE:
The private garage can accommodate up to 4 automobiles with medium-sized engines and has a private lift/elevator to the first floor of the villa.
FIRST FLOOR:
Spacious living room,
large kitchen with direct access to the big terrace,
two living areas
downstairs bathroom,
4 bedrooms (3 double bedrooms and a room with twin beds which can be transformed into a double bed on request),
4 bathrooms with shower.
There are another two kitchens on the same floor which can also be used by guests staying in the villa.
MEZZANINE FLOOR:
This floor can be reached from the first floor via a few steps.
2 double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom and shower.
Large panoramic terrace with solarium and private swimming pool with mosaic facing, hydromassage and waterfall features.
The swimming pool has a saltwater system and cannot be heated.
SPA:
furnished with massage beds and a jacuzzi for max 2 people to be exclusively used for vinotherapy treatments which are available on request at an extra cost.
Second jacuzzi for max. 2 people at a time available on request at an extra cost.
Both jacuzzis are heated.
