property is situated on the hillside above Tuoro and offers a stunning
panoramic vista of Lake Trasimeno and its three islands. The large and well
positioned swimming pool also enjoys these remarkable views. The spacious
interior and exterior areas and modern amenities cater to a large group and make
it a perfect place for a family reunion or gathering of friends. The
Tuscan-Umbrian border is in close proximity permitting easy
access to both of these beautiful regions. The locale near Tuoro (1.5km) is of
particular interest given the fact that this is the battleground where Hannibal
defeated the Romans in 217 B.C. Re-enactments
of this
historical
Battle of Trasimeno take place
in July and August. Other cultural events in the area
include the Trasimeno Blues Festival in July and the Tuoro village festival, the
Sagra del Toro, also in July.
Terrazza sul Lago is a country house (350 sq meters) that has been very recently
restored to an excellent comfort level while retaining its authentic
integrity. The use of the gracious natural stone
of the region combined
with handmade Umbrian cotto floors and distinctive furniture presents a fine
example of a property sensitively restored to modern day standards yet losing
nothing of the character of days gone by. The large living room and very well
equipped kitchen on the ground floor provide a perfect gathering place for
groups and makes large meal preparation easy and enjoyable. Internet, American
coffee maker, a kettle and portable hairdryers are at guests’ disposal. Windows
have screens. Included in the price are bed/bath/kitchen linens, pool
towels, gas, water,
electricity, final cleaning, barbecue, three mountain bikes and a baby bed.
Obligatory weekly cleaning three hours twice a week is € 70/week. Internet is metered.
The Terrazza sul Lago estate is
part of the protected Parco Naturale Regionale del Lago Trasimeno (walking
paths) ensuring complete privacy and a very peaceful setting.

Living room with fireplace and satellite TV that opens onto a terrace; one bedroom with twin
beds, one double bedroom - these two bedrooms share a bathroom with hydro
massage shower; two double bedrooms, each with private bathroom with shower.
There is an additional furnished panoramic patio with lake views on the backside
of the house. The abundance of terraces and patios allow for dining and
relaxing in both the shade and the sun, depending on the guest’s wishes.
There is air
conditioning in the four bedrooms on the first floor.
The swimming pool measures
12.8 meters x 5.0 meters with a single depth of 1.40.meters. It is located down
a slope about 30 meters from the house on the lakeside and offers the same
panoramic views as the house.

end of September. Can change depending on the weather.
In high season Terrazza sul Lago
rents on a weekly Saturday to Saturday basis.
In low and mid season, it is
possible to rent the house on a five night basis with any starting day. Please
